Hazardous area inspection (Non Ex) delivered by TTI, is the undertaking of electrical inspection and testing of electrical systems within locations that do not require ATEX rated equipment, but present an electrical shock hazard or electrical fire hazard within close proximity to areas containing explosive gases or vapours, classified by DSEAR regulations as Zone 0, Zone 1 or Zone 2. These areas require meticulous periodic inspection and testing and suitably CompEx trained inspectors can often be required to gain access to these installations. Inspectors should have sufficient knowledge and experience of industrial installations, including varying vintages of distribution equipment, fusing, switchgears and familiarity with ATEX  equipment.​​
