ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION COMMISSIONING

Electrical Panel Closeup
WHAT IS ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION COMMISSIONING?

Electrical installation commissioning for low voltage electrical installations is the physical, hands on process of inspecting, testing and verifying that newly installed electrical supply equipment operates safely and efficiently before being fully energised and handed over to the client. This practical, site based process ensures the system is properly installed, earthed, bonded and compliant with industry standards including BS7671 wiring regulations. The commissioning process can also ensure the requirements of layouts, schedules and specifications issued by the designer of the installation have been met and any site variations are captured, verified as compliant, recorded and issued as variations for the designer.
